Industrial design for electric vehicles
We design vehicles that survive contact with engineering. Every surface we draw is checked against package, tooling and cost before it ever reaches a review.
Design that starts with the package, not the sketch
On an electric vehicle the battery decides the proportions. Cell format, pack height and the space you need for cooling set the seat height, the wheelbase and the visual mass of the vehicle before anyone picks up a pen. We start every industrial design program by resolving that package with the engineering team, then draw inside it.
The result is a design language that holds through engineering. When surfaces are derived from a real package, the inevitable changes downstream are adjustments rather than restarts.
From sketch to Class-A
We run the full arc in-house: ideation sketching, theme selection, digital modelling, Class-A surfacing, and physical validation in clay or milled model form. Themes are evaluated in context, on the vehicle, at scale, with the riders or drivers who will actually use it.
CMF work runs alongside rather than after. Finishes, textures and colourways are specified against real supplier processes, so the colour you approve is the colour that can be produced at volume.
Designing for two wheels and four
Two-wheel EVs are ergonomics problems wearing a styling brief: reach, stand-over, contact points and mass centralisation drive rider confidence far more than graphics do. Light four-wheel vehicles trade that for ingress, visibility and load geometry.
We work across both, which means design decisions are made with an understanding of homologation limits, regulatory categories and the manufacturing routes each format allows.
