Validation & Homologation

Vehicle validation and homologation

Certification is a schedule item, not a formality. We build the test and approval plan at the start of the program so the vehicle is designed to pass.

Plan the approval before you draw the vehicle

Target market and vehicle category determine an enormous amount about the design: speed and power limits, lighting and mirror requirements, braking performance, battery safety testing and rider protection. Deciding those markets late is one of the most expensive mistakes an EV program can make.

We map the applicable regulations for each target market at concept stage and turn them into engineering requirements the team can design against.

Design verification and product validation

We write and run the DV and PV plans: component and system bench testing, environmental and durability cycles, EMC, battery abuse, braking and durability on road and track. Failures are expected — the plan exists to find them while there is still time to fix them.

Test data comes back as engineering change, not as a report that sits in a folder.

Approval across regions

European L-category and M1 routes, US FMVSS and EPA/CARB considerations, and APAC market approvals. We prepare technical files, manage test-house scheduling, and represent the program through the approval process so your team keeps building.
